QUICK LINKS / NEED TO KNOW
Penncrest lost to Springfield in a hard fought game, 21-14, in the PIAA D1 5A playoffs.
What a season it was for the Lions Football team! After a hard fought and heartbreaking 21-14 loss to Springfield in the 2nd round of the District 1, 5A playoffs, this incredible season has come to an end. This team never stopped fighting and they showed heart. They are winners and we are so proud! As Coach Graham said on Friday, "this one hurts and it should... because you care."
This team made history for Penncrest Football, not only hosting a first round playoff game, but winning. They were the epitome of family. .. loving each other like brothers. They have represented Penncrest with pride and class. To our seniors, you have led by example, raised the bar, and left your mark on the Penncrest Football program. The future is bright for the Lions! Thanks for such an incredible season and a fun ride!
